Kym Marsh has opened up about a past encounter as the Morning Live presenter commemorated Prince Philip in a cheeky admission. The Duke of Edinburgh died last Friday at the age of 99 at

Windsor Castle and like many celebrities, she has shared her memories of the Queen's late husband. The 44-year-old spoke candidly about a cheeky moment that has stuck in the

singer's mind. The former Coronation Street star explained that she had attended an event with her fellow former Hear'Say bandmates where they performed at his 80th birthday and

the 45th anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award back in 2001. Speaking on Monday's episode of Morning Live alongside her co-presenter Gethin Jones, Kym recalled the moment

right. That's why I only got to the semi-final." Meanwhile, Prince Philip will be buried at St George's Chapel over the weekend. Her Majesty will be isolated at the small

funeral in Windsor on Saturday as Prince Philip is laid to rest. The funeral, which will have 30 guests, is expected to be "Covid compliant", according to reports. Because of

social distancing rules, people attending the funeral are expected to stand two metres apart. _MORNING LIVE AIRS ON WEEKDAYS ON BBC ONE AT 9AM._
