On Wednesday, acclaimed chef and father-of-five Gordon Ramsay, 56, joined BBC Radio 2 star Zoe Ball, 52, on her Breakfast Show. While talking about their appreciation for the “grafter” Ed
Sheeran, Zoe revealed that she and her 13-year-old daughter Nelly have fallen in love with indie-duo Wet Leg, formed by Isle of Wight College friends Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers. The
pair’s debut single Chaise Longue won a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Performance earlier this year, the lyrics of which have enthralled many and include some baffling statements. The
first pre-chorus questions: “Is your muffin buttered? Would you like us to assign someone to butter your muffin?” Revealing how the statement had confused her at first, Zoe turned to her
interviewee for some insight: “Has anyone ever asked you to butter their muffin Gordon Ramsay?” READ MORE: PAUL O'GRADY'S PAINFUL GOODBYE TO LOVED PET IN HEARTBREAKING FINAL POST
BEFORE DEATH AT 67 Gordon, who married his wife Tana in 1996, responded: “Tana did yes. Nine months later we had twins.” Zoe fell into fits of laughter, exclaiming: “You ask Gordon Ramsay a
question like that of course you’re going to get that answer! I had no idea what it meant, no idea.” Gordon continued: “Well Tana asked me to put marmite on a muffin. I’m just a jam
guy." The radio DJ instantly stopped the chef, scolding him: “I don’t want to know any more about your bedroom antics!” A shocked and somewhat confused Gordon declared: “It’s just
breakfast antics!” Elsewhere in the chat, Gordon revealed that despite being on national radio before 9am, he hadn’t had breakfast, claiming that: “Chefs generally don’t eat breakfast.”
Gordon revealed that working in a kitchen often leaves chefs “grazing” while on shift so the “last thing you want to do first thing in the morning” is eat more food. The chef also praised
his youngest daughter, Tilly, as the “unflappable” cook in the Ramsay household. The social media star appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2021 with professional partner Nikita Kuzmin but
surprising, Gordon revealed he has never been asked to do the show himself. He added: “I’d love to learn how to dance properly but I’ve got a big problem - Size 15 feet.”
