The 19-year-old is currently filming Little Women for the BBC, which will mark her acting debut as Jo March in the Louisa May Alcott classic coming-of-age story from 1868. The character of
Jo was originally portrayed by Winona Ryder in the much loved 1994 film, which also starred Kirsten Dunst, Susan Sarandon, Claire Danes and Christian Bale. Maya will be in good company in
the new production of Little Women, which boasts a stellar cast including Sir Michael Gambon, Angela Lansbury and Emily Watson. However, it appears that Maya revealed more than she intended
to while shooting scenes on a beach on Brittas Bay in Wicklow, Ireland. In the photos, she is seen wearing a white pair of bloomers and a shift as she goes for a frolic in the sea for the
period drama. When she emerges from the water her period attire seems to have gone sheer and leaves little to the imagination. At one point she is seen talking to one of the camera crew
while standing in the middle of the sea in between scenes. Other images show her walking across the sand in a blue and white checked dress with a high collar. The teen - whose father is the
equally as famous Ethan Hawke - looks the spitting image of her famous mother, whose credits include Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction and Gattaca. An airdate has not yet been set for Little Women
after casting for the production was announced last month. A synopsis from the BBC for the three-part mini-series reads: “Set against the backdrop of a country divided, the story follows
the four sisters Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy March on their journey from childhood to adulthood. “With the help of their mother Marmee, while their father is away at war the girls navigate what
it means to be a young woman - from gender roles to sibling rivalry, first love, loss and marriage.” _LITTLE WOMEN WILL AIR ON THE BBC AND IS CURRENTLY IN PRODUCTION._
