Who is dead, who is missing but still alive and who will be brought back somehow from the Snap (also known on Earth as The Decimation)? The Marvel Cinematic Universe has become very
complicated and that is before it starts overlapping with the small screen stories. They rarely cross over, apart from the occasional appearance from the likes of Lady Sif. However, the new
trailer for Season Six of Agents of SHIELD just dropped and fans have gone crazy over the final seconds which feature a monumental reveal. How is this hero back? Are the Skrulls on Earth
since the 1990s? Despite his devastating death at the hands of Loki on the big screen, the iconic Agent Coulson has long been alive and headlining the popular TV show. After his incredible
resurrection, Coulson appeared to leave the show (and the world of the living) in the Season Five finale. The new trailer wastes no time filling the screen with the words "Agent Coulson
is dead." So, how does he appear at the very end? Why does he look so sinister? Does this confirm that the Secret Invasion Skrull storyline from the upcoming Captain Marvel movie is
still going on? Have the Skrulls been here all along? Marvel on the screen faces the problem that rarely troubles source comics which can constantly reinvent, reboot and resurrect
characters. Doing so on screen is more problematic and risks completely undermining everything that has come before. The Russo brothers are well aware that just bringing back everyone who
died in the Snap without major consequences or a major trump card will not satisfy fans. Deaths have to mean something or they are worthless. For Coulson to come back again from the dead
will be too much, however popular he is with fans. If there was a Skrull imposter, however, that opens up a dark and delicious new storyline. Seeing one of the most beloved characters
flipped into a ruthless and possibly evil alien is a tantalising thought. It also ties in with the larger MCU. Fans already know that the Captain Marvel movie will reveal Skrulls have
infiltrated Earth (including the early incarnation of SHIELD). It was assumed the Captain will eradicate that threat but now it is looking increasingly likely there are some huge revelations
