looking to retire in 20 years' time, at 61, or earlier if possible. They explained that from the age of 27, they paid into a stakeholder pension, calling themselves a “late starter”,


before transferring into a SIPP several years ago. The homeowner said that currently, they put a chunk of their earnings into it monthly, while also having a workplace pension through


auto-enrolment, which sees them contribute the required five percent while their employer pays in three percent.
