Car experts have highlighted items with the highest risk of heat exposure dangers that drivers commonly leave in their vehicles. These items can cause stains, smoke, fire, and mould damage, with up to £4,000 in combined repair costs. Auto insurance specialists at Uswitch reported on these items after learning 38 per cent of motorists limit interior car cleaning to once every two months.  Smoke and fire damage could cost motorists the most, with damage repairs posing an average cost of £1,764 during a worst-case scenario. Warmer temperatures naturally generate greater demand for cold drinks, but leaving a carbonated beverage can in your hot car can cause the container to explode and stain upholstery. Drivers can also find themselves battling stains if they leave a vape inside their car. Hot weather causes the electronic device’s liquid to thin and possibly leak from its tank onto your vehicle’s interior.
