A woman who shed over two stone has explained exactly how she did it using diet and exercise. Taking to Reddit, the woman, known only as her username “_falconx”, shared before and after
pictures. She even included a picture of herself halfway through her journey to show her progress. Revealed she is 23 and 5’4”, _falconx admitted to weighing 10 stone five pounds before she
decided to overhaul her life. And two-and-a-half years later, she is two stone two pounds lighter and much more confident with her appearance. Explaining how she did it, she wrote: “What
made the biggest difference was the HIIT cardio. I went from doing 45 min to an hour of steady state mind numbing jogging/cardio to 20 min of super intense interval sprinting. “I think that
is what I am proudest of. My chubby past self would have NEVER thought I’d be able to sprint and now I’m such a trained sprinter that I have to really do the most just to break a sweat. “It
was NOT always like that. I had to take baby steps over the years to be able to run and build up my cardiovascular system. “The interval training burned all that fat around my lower belly
and tightened my entire body. “What really toke it to the next level was adding compound exercises, I was lifting low weight (30-40 pounds) doing high reps of lunges, squats, and split
squats. The combination of those two things tightened my entire body.” Moving on to her diet, she said: “Diet wise - no sodium! I try to avoid sodium as much as possible. “I hold on to water
so easily and I LOVE salt so keeping your diet low sodium and sweating on the daily is going to reduce your belly size in a major way! Water retention, especially in females, accounts for a
lack of tightness in the stomach. “I keep my sodium intake really really low. I eat whole foods. I take pre-workout and protein supplements. I could go on.... “Whats most important is doing
your research, keeping a clean diet, and always increasing the intensity of whatever you do that works for you so that you can continue to see your body change.” However, she also revealed
she is not finished, and would now like to build some muscle.
