HOW LONG DO YOU SPEND GETTING READY FOR A NIGHT OUT? About an hour. I time myself. Fifteen minutes to do my hair. I am more meticulous with my eye make-up, and then I change my clothes a lot
so getting the right shoes and dress takes up more time. IS THERE A PART OF YOUR BODY YOU’D CHANGE? My feet. As I am a dancer, and I have been dancing for 23 years, my feet don’t look
fantastic. They look a bit like a footballer’s feet – they have been through a lot! WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE DESIGNER? I like different designers, so I’ll shop around to get clothes which are
a bit unusual. Zara is my favourite high-street store. For a special purchase I would always go to Chanel on Fifth Avenue in my hometown of New York. WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU WANT TO PAMPER
YOURSELF? I go for a run. I like being outside and being active, so a treat is to reenergise and get the blood pumping as that gets me into a good mood. DO YOU WEAR MAKE-UP EVERY DAY? Some
days I do go totally bare. On low make-up days, I use a highlighter for under my eyes, mascara, lip gloss and a bronzer. HOW MUCH EXERCISE DO YOU DO WHEN ON STRICTLY? I am dancing from 9am
to 6pm or 10pm so I have to make sure that my body does nothing extra. I have to focus on resting my muscles and not overexerting them at all. AND WHEN IT ISN’T STRICTLY SEASON? I do a lot.
My whole family are very active and we are always on the go. So whether it is going to the gym or to the park, taking classes, swimming or playing tennis, I always have to do something. DO
YOU DIET? No, as I do so much exercise if you put anything in front of me I will eat it! Plus I drink lots of water. WOULD YOU CONSIDER HAVING PLASTIC SURGERY? No. I’m afraid of needles and
anesthetic. _STRICTLY COME DANCING IS ON BBC1 ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. _
