Meghan is expected to give birth to her first child shortly, either this month or the beginning of next. Her mother, Doria Ragland, is reported to have arrived in the UK ahead of the birth.

for her standing on political and cultural subjects. “It may sound fanciful, but perhaps she’s just the sort of person America needs right now.” However a Royal spokesman dismissed as

and Meghan could be dispatched to Africa to fulfil a “bespoke” commonwealth role, whilst also promoting the UK. The paper reported a plan has been drawn up by Sir David Manning, formerly the
British ambassador to the US. The role could potentially see the Royal couple move away from the UK for two or three years. However a decision is not expected to be made until 2020, when

destinations according to Royal sources. Prince Harry in particular has a longstanding relationship with the African continent. He spent his gap year in Lesotho in 2004, and later founded a
charity in the same country. Meghan and Harry visited Botswana together in 2017, just months before their engagement was announced.
