PRINCESS BEATRICE ARRIVES AT ST GEORGE'S CHAPEL WITH EDOARDO Royal fans were sent into a frenzy after a source close to the York claimed last week Princess Beatrice may be tying the knot with Edoardo, known as Edo, as early as next spring. The couple have known each other for years, but they have been officially introduced only in mid-September 2018 - when their relationship immediately “hit off”, according to a friend of Beatrice and Edo.  RELATED ARTICLES The fast pace at which the princess and Edo are moving towards a marriage, according to insiders, highlights the “strong personalities” and independence of the pair, Bernadette Chapman, marriage expert and founder of the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners said. She told Express.co.uk: “I feel their decision to marry quickly highlights strong personalities, they don’t need permission from anyone else, they don’t see a need to conform. “They love each other, want to get married - so why wait.  “They are in charge of their destiny and are taking steps to make it happen.  Princess Beatrice started dating Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in mid-September last year (Image: GETTY) Bookies seem certain there will be a Royal Wedding some time next year (Image: GETTY) “They are decisive decision-makers, I can’t see them procrastinating over their wedding, I can’t see them debating for hours over what suppliers to hire.” In fact, Ms Chapman believes making a quick decision over the wedding could raise the chances of success of Beatrice and Edo’s relationship, as it would spare them from the strains coming from months of overthinking whether it is the right time for the nuptials and planning a perfect ceremony. She continued: “I’ve seen many couples with short engagements go on to have successful marriages. “I think sometimes this can be they spend time getting to know each other, enjoying each other, rather than only talking weddings.   READ MORE: SARAH FERGUSON AND PRINCE ANDREW: COUPLE HAS VERY MODERN RELATIONSHIP Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who got married last year (Image: GETTY) RELATED ARTICLES “On the flip side, I’ve seen couples [who have been together for a long time] struggling once married because for 18 months or even two years all their focus has been on their wedding. “So I feel actually, short lead time weddings are better for your mental health. “For couples where budget is not such a factor they are quick with their decisions, they want to get married and see no reason to have a long engagement planning their wedding.   DON'T MISS  Princess Beatrice's mother Sarah Ferguson recently travelled to Italy and visited a palace often used as wedding venue (Image: GETTY) Princess Beatrice and Edo attended together an event at the National Portrait Gallery (Image: GETTY) “They want to get married so why wait?” Despite the couple has never even confirmed their engagement, speculation the pair is getting closer and closer to tying the knot have been fuelled by several sources and punters’ behaviour. Ingrid Seward, editor of Majesty magazine, told Hello! magazine in late August: “They’re going to get married – I was told by a member of the family. “I think a wedding as early as next spring or summer is likely.”  Royal residences scattered across the UK (Image: EXPRESS) Last week, Beatrice’s mother Sarah Ferguson travelled to Italy and visited one of Tuscany’s most prestigious palaces - also used as wedding venue - further fuelling speculation. The Duchess of York, also known as Fergie, headed to Villa Cetinale, 12km off the city of Siena, as revealed by her chauffeur, who published on his Instagram account a relaxed photograph of himself and Fergie setting the 17th-century Baroque residence as their location. On top of tagging the Villa itself in the picture, Fergie’s chauffeur also added American Brenda Babcock and a company called Iles Events, both specialised in destination weddings in Tuscany.  Princess Beatrice and Edo 'hit it off' immediately, according to a source (Image: GETTY) Bookies also seem certain there will be a Royal Wedding some time next year. Ladbrokes has pulled the plug earlier this week on betting regarding Beatrice and Edo getting married in 2020. Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It looks as though Princess Beatrice will be stealing the royal limelight next year with a 2020 wedding on the cards.” This came just a few weeks after the same betting company had suspended betting on the pair’s engagement being announced by the end of the year.
