Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who recently moved to the US from Canada, are understood to have been the target of a number of drones attempting to capture photographs of the couple and
their one-year-old son. At least five drone-related incidents are understood to have taken place in recent weeks, with some flying as low as 20 feet over their LA home. As a result, the
couple are said to be fearful for Archie’s safety. Meghan and Harry have reported the incidents to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) non-emergency line, The Daily Beast reports. They
state the couple spotted drones flying over their LA mansion on May 9th, 19th, 20th, 21st, and 25th. The drones are believed to be operated by paparazzi photographers, but are also being
treated as potential terrorist threats. In response to the spate of attempts to capture images of the couple, Meghan and Harry have told friends they will hire their own private security -
funding the team with their own cash. A friend said: "They see these drones coming in at them, and they guess that they are being operated by photographers, but they can’t just assume
that. "Meghan received racist death threats at the time of her wedding, so the terror threat is very real for them. “But, aside from that, imagine if you were in their shoes facing

WITH ROYAL WEBSITE A report for the Memorial Day incident, a US bank holiday which took place on May 25, said that “a drone was flying over residences” and that it is “an ongoing drone
issue.” On the day of the public holiday Meghan and Harry were reportedly playing with Archie by the pool. Current laws in the US make it illegal to fly a drone over people, or beyond your
line of sight, unless you are a registered drone pilot. The couple are also allegedly being tailed by photographers in cars since they moved out to LA last month. A source said: "The
reality is people are following and tailing them every day. "They are trying not to let the aggressiveness get to them. Protecting their family is their top concern." Meghan and
Harry are currently living in a mansion worth $18million (£14.7million), which is owned by their friend Tyler Perry. The eight-bedroom, 12-bathroom Tuscan-style villa sits on 22 acres on the
top of a hill in the ultra-exclusive Beverly Ridge Estates gated community. It is believed that the mansion is only a temporary fix as the couple search for a new permanent residence.
