Stuart Camp, who managed the star for nearly nine years, claimed Beatrice sliced Ed Sheeran’s face with a sword while attempting to “knight” James Blunt. It was said to have taken place in
2016 at a party in the Royal Lodge of Windsor. The Thinking Out Loud singer reportedly required stitches following the accident. Speaking to The Telegraph, Mr Camp said he was still angry
over the reported accident. He said: "I got quite protective over that. Because we've never publicly commented on it. “But certain people said, 'Oh, you should lie and say it
wasn't her and say it was someone else.' I said, well, we're not telling anyone anything. “I’m not lying, just because someone's a f**g idiot. Because they're
thinking, yeah, I will get paralytic and take a sword off the wall. “ READ MORE: PRINCESS BEATRICE WEDDING: MORE ROYALS FINALLY LIFT LID ON SECRET 'DIGNIFIED' WEDDING Mr Camp added
he and Mr Sheeran have “not heard hide nor hair from her since” the incident. The accident was said to have taken place because Mr Blunt joked he wanted to be made a knight, with a source
at the party telling The Sun at the time: “As the night wore on they started talking about honours and apparently James Blunt joked that he would love a knighthood. “Beatrice jokingly said
she could arrange it and fetched a ceremonial sword. Beatrice held the sword above him and said "arise Sir James", just like her majesty would at the Palace. “But she must have
misjudged the weight or something and, instead of lightly tapping him on the shoulder, she swung it back, not knowing Ed was standing right behind her.” The star sported his new scar
underneath his right eye at a performance at London’s O2 Shepherds Bush Empire the next day. And just days after the incident, he went into detail about the close call while speaking to
Absolute Radio. He said: “I got hit in the face and I was like, all right, OK, and then started carrying on and then I looked down at my shirt and it was just completely covered in blood.
“And everyone was kind of gaping open-mouthed at me. What have I got a nosebleed or something? What’s happened?” Beatrice has made headlines this year for her touching wedding this year to
property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Sophie Winkleman, the wife of Lord Frederick Windsor, spilled more on the ceremony to Hello! Magazine. She said of the scaled down ceremony:
"Beatrice is a heavenly girl. "I thought she looked exquisite on her wedding day and it was very dignified to have married in such a small yet beautiful way."
