The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is the most awaited event for the Royal Family next year, as members will come together to celebrate her 70th year on the throne. Podcaster Rachel Bowie claimed that Lilibet’s meeting with the Queen is also expected to take place next year. It read: “There will be year-long Platinum Jubilee celebrations throughout the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth, and around the world as communities and people come together to celebrate The Queen’s historic reign. "Throughout the year, Her Majesty and Members of the Royal Family will travel around the country to undertake a variety of engagements to mark this historic occasion culminating with the focal point of the Platinum Jubilee Weekend in June - one year from today. An exhibition will be held from July 22 to October 2, 2022 at The State Rooms at Buckingham Palace with the name Platinum Jubilee: The Queen’s Accession that will feature a huge display of portraits by Dorothy Wilding from February 1952 that formed the basis of the Queen’s image on stamps and in British embassies across the world until 1971. It will also feature The Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara, a wedding gift to Princess Victoria Mary of Teck, later Queen Mary with King George V in 1893. Later, the Tiara was passed on by Queen Mary to her granddaughter, Queen Elizabeth on her marriage to Prince Philip on 20 November 1947.
