Princess Kate may be one of the most famous people in the world, but it appears she has worries just like the rest of us regarding family life. While she is now a very established member of
the family, having been married to her husband, Prince William, since 2011, there was a time when Kate did experience some worry when it came to attending family events for the first time,
including Christmas. In a documentary released in 2016 to mark the late Queen Elizabeth's 90th birthday, Princess Kate said she was nervous about her first Christmas at Sandringham with
the Royal Family for one specific reason, according to The Mirror. The mother-of-three said: "I can remember being at Sandringham for the first time at Christmas and I was worried what
to give the Queen as her Christmas present. “I was thinking, 'Gosh what do I give her?' And I thought back to perhaps what would I give my own grandparents and I thought I'd
make her something—which could have gone horribly wrong—but I decided to make some of my granny's recipe for chutney, and was slightly worried about it. "I noticed the next day
that it was on the table and I think such a simple gesture went such a long way for me, and I've noticed since that she's done that on lots of occasions, and I think it just shows
her thoughtfulness really and her care in looking after everybody." Christmas with the Royal Family was not the only thing the Princess of Wales was worried about during her early days
with Prince William. In a recently resurfaced video, Kate said she found the idea of being a royal slightly “daunting” during a photoshoot marking her engagement to Prince William. During a
photo call following their engagement announcement at St James' Palace on November 16, 2010, reporters asked Kate how she felt about becoming a member of William’s family. As the
cameras flashed around her, Kate could be seen holding onto William’s arm as she answered the question while occasionally looking up at her future husband. She said at the time: “It's
quite a daunting prospect but hopefully I'll take it in my stride, and William's a great teacher so hopefully he'll be able to help me along the way. “I'm really looking
forward to spending my time with William." The princess is now one of the most popular members of the Royal Family, ranking second on the latest YouGov Poll just points behind the late
Queen Elizabeth II.
