A Brexit voter has praised Boris Johnson for sacking the 21 Tory rebels who defied the party whip last night. A total of 21 Tories defied the Prime Minister on Tuesday to vote with the
Labour opposition to enable the Brexit delay bill to be considered. The rebellion meant Mr Johnson suffered his first Commons defeat as Prime Minister by a margin of 328 votes to 301. June

into bed with Corbyn. “I hope that Nigel Farage comes to our rescue. I am so despondent now.” He has already challenged Jeremy Corbyn to put his policy of "dither and delay" over
EU withdrawal to the British people. The Prime Minister needs the support of two-thirds of MPs to trigger an election. Mr Corbyn said Mr Johnson was "running down the clock" on a
no deal Brexit. His shadow Brexit secretary Sir Keir Starmer told Labour MPs the leadership would not back an election until a delay had been agreed with the EU.
