As this year’s contestants enjoy their long hot summer in the Love Island villa former star Eyal Booker has opened up on the scenes viewers don’t get a chance to watch.  Fans of the show

will have noticed that this year’s islanders are never filmed smoking after a rule was introduced prior to last year’s series which moved the smoking area out of the villa.  However during

seasons one, two and three of the show many of the islanders shared intimate conversations while smoking leading to fears that some of the drama won’t be shown in the final edit.  But in an

exclusive interview with Express.co.uk Eyal reassures viewers that they won’t be missing out of any of the action.  When asked whether islanders purposely had heated chats while smoking

because they knew it couldn’t be shown, Eyal remarked: “No, if you were smoking you had to smoke on your own.  “There were still cameras out there and you were still mic’d up, just because

they didn’t show the smoking. If there was still a situation in the smoking area then they would have shown it.”  The ITV dating show has been slammed in the past for failing to produce many

long-lasting couples.  Despite Eyal leaving the villa single he admits the show has helped him with his dating life.  He confessed: “It allowed me to realise that who I was trying to date

wasn’t necessarily the best way and that you can’t just go off what you’re attracted to.  “I learnt quite a lot in that process and applied it on the outside world.”  As the islanders got

ready to go to bed commentator Iain Stirling pointed out the new arrival cuddled up to her teddy bear Boo Boo.  The witty observer joked her bedtime partner was “against the rules” and it

had been taken away and burned.  But a representative for Love Island confirmed Molly-Mae still has her teddy bear.  Viewers were quick to comment as one tweeted: “Molly-Mae sleeping with a

teddy is the funniest thing I’ve seen all series so far #loveisland.”  Another wrote: “Molly-Mae bringing her teddy in the villa… a girl after my own heart #loveisland.”  _Love Island airs
