WITH PETER'S BABY? As Bernie and Bailey reminisce about their beloved pet, Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) panics when a stray dog runs off with his daughter’s hotdog. Bailey sees the
incident as a sign and begs her dad to bring the dog home. But when Mitch tells Karen, she points out that they can’t afford to take in an animal right now. Later, Rainie (Tanya Franks)
and Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) notice Mitch is feeling down and hatch a plan when he admits he’s worried about Bailey. Later, Mitch spots a missing dog poster at the Minute Mart and takes
it home so he can explain to Bailey why Banjo can’t stay. But, when he arrives home, Karen has a change of heart and declares Banjo as the newest member of the family. The concerned
father sees how excited Bailey is and rips up the poster but will he be able to keep quiet for long? In a recent interview, EastEnders star Lorraine opened up on how the family will cope
with the loss of Bronson. She said: “He is such a part of the family. Bailey also really struggles with this situation, so Karen really wants to care for her. “Bronson was a part of the
family, and when someone in the family goes it's never nice – especially adding to the fact that Chantelle is gone too.” “They are trying to grieve for Bronson the dog and things get
overwhelming and then more things go downhill from there,” the actress told Digital Spy. _EASTENDERS CONTINUES ON BBC ONE TONIGHT AT 7.35PM._
