Outlander is the time-travelling romantic drama which sees the passionate relationship of 1940s nurse Claire Randall (played by Caitriona Balfe) and 18th Century Scotsman Jamie Fraser (Sam
Heughan) blossom. The plot of the Starz and Amazon Prime Video series has closely been following the storylines set in the book of the same name by author Diana Gabaldon. But as of yet, an
explanation for the Outlander ghost remains a mystery. _WARNING: THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM OUTLANDER._ In the very first episode of Outlander, Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies) is
seen walking through the rain when he stops to see a ghost-like figure. The mysterious man is looking up at a window of a bed and breakfast where Frank and Claire were staying. Claire can be
seen through the window brushing her hair but when Frank confronts the figure, he disappears. On returning back to their room, Claire jokes that her husband looks like he has seen a ghost
and he seriously replies: "I'm not all sure that I haven't." READ MORE: Outlander season 6: Sam Heughan details Jamie's 'killer' decision Taking to Reddit,

to these time travelling kiddos when their other family have all passed away? Will they figure out a way to travel more safely? "I don't know how seriously I consider this
possibility, time travellers are supposed to be solid not spectral like the ghost Frank saw. But maybe?!" DON'T MISS... Outlander season 6 cast: Who will be joining the cast for

Jeremiah Alexander, is the son of Brianna (Sophie Skelton) and Roger MacKenzie (Richard Rankin). This also makes him the grandson of Claire and Jamie Frasier who has been brought up in 18th
Century Scotland unlike his mum and grandmother. While Jamie cannot time travel, will Jemmy have the ability to since his mum was originally from the future? Even though some fellow fans
have praised this idea, labelling it as a "cool thought", author Gabaldon has already cleared up the identity of the ghost. She has already stated that the ghost in Outlander
season one is in fact Jamie. But she has continued to puzzle fans by indicating that he isn't a ghost but cannot go forward in time as well. When asked about the mysterious scene in
series one on Twitter, Gabaldon simply said: "Ghosts don't exist in a place where time has meaning." So how will the "ghost" be explained in a future season of
