Mike Brewer has cleared up confusion following a recently broadcast episode of Wheeler Dealers World Tour. The latest instalment of the Discovery Plus spin-off saw Mike and co-host Marc
‘Elvis’ Priestley heading to Germany to meet with BMW enthusiasts. On Monday (May 13), the duo were left stunned after gaining access to a Munich garage. Inside the “top secret facility,”
the automobile fanatics discovered Formula One cars and Andy Warhol’s unique M1 art car. “That is mind-blowing, My head is going to explode…,” said 59-year-old Mike. “Okay, now I understand
why they need to keep this location secret.” Elsewhere in the episode, Mike and former F1 mechanic Marc, 47, were captivated by a BMW E30 M3. After forking out for the project, the pair
worked against the clock to fix up and transform the classic car. Following the renovation, the duo regretfully said farewell as they were due to move to the next city on their hit list.
Unfortunately, the fate of the car at auction was never revealed. After the episode concluded, Mike took to social media to set the record straight on the automobile sale. Writing to his
150,700 X followers, the restorer said: “Thanks all for watching, love that car so much!! #wheelerdealers #worldtour back next week @DiscoveryUK @f1elvis.” In a follow up statement, he
wrote: "Hi All, thanks for watching the car sold for a small profit to a buyer that didn’t want to disclose the figure and we have to respect that.” He added: “Please share and retweet
so I don’t have to answer the same question 1000 times.” Mike’s post has caused some friction among fans, with viewer writing: “Should have just said that at the end of the programe. For
reference. I think you should have negotiated harder buying the car at the start. Sebastian would have taken less. Another very good resto though.” (sic) A second said: “Never even thought
about the price - too busy daydreaming about owning an M3!” “It did seem an awful lot to pay for a do-er upper,” commented a third. “But, as you say, more a labour of love and an academic
exercise than a pursuit of profit. Sometimes it’s about the art…” “That was a whole lot of car,” typed another. “Value isn’t everything.” A fourth commented: “Lol... just watched it, so not
surprised. 50 mil for an M1.. unreal.” Mike has been at the helm of the motoring show Wheeler Dealers and its various spin-off shows since since 2003. Speaking ahead of Wheeler Dealers World
Tour premiering late last month, the star admitted it was the “best series” he had ever made. “I've enjoyed it more than any other time. I've met some amazing people, been around
the world, seen the Wheeler Dealers audience globally." “It's been the best thing I’ve ever done,” he added. _TUNE INTO WHEELER DEALERS WORLD TOUR ON DISCOVERY CHANNEL AND
