Kaos is now on Netflix and the Greek mythology drama stars Killian Scott as musician Orpheus, who is in a relationship with Riddy (Aurora Perrineau). In the series, Riddy ends up in the
Underworld and Orpheus goes to all lengths in order to get her back. The Irish actor, 39, has previously starred in some familiar shows like Love/Hate, Jack Taylor and Call the Midwife. His
later credits include Dublin Murders, Damnation and Secret Invasion. The youngest of six children, he grew up in Dublin and his siblings include former politician Eoghan Murphy and
playwright Colin Murphy. It was his brother Eoghan's performance in a school production of Hamlet that inspired Killian to take up acting. He studied English and philosophy at
University College Dublin before moving to London to join the Drama Centre. Launching his acting career in theatre, he felt he needed to change his real name. He was born Cillian Damien
Murphy and changed his name to Killian Scott to avoid confusion with Peaky Blinders actor Cillian Murphy. Opening up about his new name, he told the Irish Independent: "A very famous
and wonderful actor called Cillian Murphy happened to become an actor before I arrived. "It's my given name and birth name, Cillian Muprhy, but I had to change it. I'm the
turncoat who's betrayed my father!" His mother came up with the surname Scott. He explained: "My mother gave out to me because I got this wrong in an interview before.
"She was the one who pitched the name to me. It's relations on my father's side who are in Argentina. "I was in a play and had to change my name so it could be put on the
poster. "Otherwise Cillian Murphy might have arrived down to give out to me, which I didn't need. I changed the 'C' to a 'K' for pronunciation reasons."
He gained fame in Ireland for playing Tommy in Love/Hate, which first started airing in 2010. KAOS IS STREAMING ON NETFLIX NOW
