The celebrity chef has called upon pop star Ed Sheeran, Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney, Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon, pianist Jamie Cullum rapper Professor Green and,
bizarrely, Hollywood star Hugh Jackman, to lend their voices for Food Revolution Day today. Jamie said: “Ed just came in to do a bit of fi lming to support Food Revolution Day. I started
telling him a few things, writing a few things down, and then he only went and wrote an anthem.” The song features cringeworthy rapping from father-offour Jamie, who used to be a drummer in
Nineties pop outfit Scarlet Division, and 46-year-old Jackman, who can be seen in the video bopping his head while holding a pair of headphones. Food Revolution Day aims to put compulsory
food education on the school curriculum. Launching his petition, Jamie added: “I urgently need help to make a real difference. We’re currently facing a global obesity epidemic.”
