The 55-year-old former Countdown star admitted to fellow campmate Ola Jordan that she was not seeing anyone in particular at the moment. Carol has been married twice before in her life,
first to Royal Navy officer Christopher Mather and later to management consultant Patrick King, with whom she has two children. Carol has been divorced since 2000 and confessed during
tonight's episode of the jungle show that she was “happily single” at the moment. “I’ve had too many”, she later added, laughing. Ola, who is herself married to fellow dancer James
Jordan, tried to delve deeper into Carol's personal life and asked if she was “single and ready to mingle?” Carol replied: “I do alright!” The presenter has previously admitted that she
would be happy to go out with a younger man but that the 14 year age gap between herself and her ex-boyfriend Graham "Duffy" Duff was "silly". Speaking to the Daily
Mirror in July, she said: "I'm not opposed to going out with someone 10 years younger, it's acceptable. But Duffy was 14 years younger- that was a bit silly really."
Carol and former Red Arrows pilot Duff were together for four years before splitting earlier this year. Later on, the Maths queen was impressed when she discovered fellow contestant Joel
Dommett, 30, had Pi tattooed on his arm to 106 places. Explaining his choice of inking, Joel said: "When I was a kid, I memorised it to 106 decimal places.” He continued that if Pi was
a finite number, the world would end, to which Carol agreed. Carol said: "Joel is very clever and quite geeky. I’d never have guessed that about Joel. I don’t know anyone else who’s
