Young Arthur Thomas (played by Alfie Clarke) has been furious at Emma (Gillian Kearney) ever since he found out that she tormented his father Ashley Thomas (John Middleton) before his
devastating death earlier this year. Yet, in a surprising turn of events, the schoolboy had a sudden change of heart about attending Emma’s funeral, which will be shown in tomorrow’s
instalment. Speaking to his mother Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy), Arthur declared: “Mum I made a decision when I was in the bath. I want to go to Emma’s funeral tomorrow.” While both Laurel
and his sister Gabby (Rosie Bentham) were thrown by the youngster’s admission, those at home were more interested in what it meant for the ongoing murder investigation. Despite the pair
desperately trying to convince the child he had nothing to “feel guilty about”, Arthur insisted: “We still did some pretty bad things to her, we need to say sorry so we can be forgiven too.”
Taking to Twitter, fans discussed the new information as they tried to figure out the true culprit that pushed Emma off the viaduct. “Arthur's keen to go to Emma's funeral, guilty
conscience? #Emmerdale,” one person wondered. Another said: “Starting to think Arthur did it. #Emmerdale.” EMMERDALE: ARTHUR LASHES OUT OVER EMMA'S FUNERAL A third agreed: “#emmerdale
I think it could have been Arthur and Gabby,” followed by: “#emmerdale hahahahaha nobody was there to make suspicion even greater but it wasn't any of them it was Arthur or Gabby or
both, it's so obvious.”(sic) Some fans were impressed by the episode’s sinister ending on the soap, as one person commented: “Dramatic & eerie ending to the episode and the teasing
for the Emma whodunit gets ready to reach it's conclusion tomorrow #Emmerdale.” _EMMERDALE CONTINUES TOMORROW AT 7PM ON ITV._
