_WARNING: THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR WESTWORLD SEASON 2_ This week’s episode of Westworld provided insight into a mysterious character who has been a constant presence since the
beginning of the series. Titled, Kiksuya, the action took viewers completely away from the main storyline and instead dedicated an episode to uncovering the Ghost Nation and their
motivations, specifically through the perspective of Akecheta (played by Zahn McClarnon). Akecheta is the leader of the violent and terrifying Ghost Nation tribe that feature prominently in
the series, and in Maeve’s (Thandie Newton) flashbacks to her previous configuration. One of the very first hosts, his setting before the Ghost Nation storyline was an idyllic and peaceful
one spent with his wife, a host named Kohana (Julia Jones). He tells his story to Meave’s daughter (Jasmyn Rae) and reveals that he had always watched over her and tried to protect her.
Kiksuya means ‘remember’ and Akecheta tells how he came to realise the true nature of his existence and what Westworld truly is. WHO IS WILLIAM'S WIFE JULIET? WHO PLAYS HER? WHAT WILL
HAPPEN IN WESTWORLD SEASON 2, EPISODE 9? If this week’s episode focused on Akecheta, then the next instalment looks set to be a very William-centric episode. That’s right, it appears
audiences will finally be given a glimpse into the life of a man so obsessed with a futuristic theme park filled with robots, it destroyed his family. Earlier this season viewers were
introduced to young William’s (Jimmi Simpson) family. His wife Juliet (Claire Unabia) was revealed to be the woman in the photo that caused Peter Abernathy (Louis Hearthum) to glitch and his
code to change, thus kicking off the whole host revolution. WHERE IS WESTWORLD ACTUALLY LOCATED? His daughter Emily (Katja Hebers) is also roaming around the park as a seasoned guest. The
trailer for the upcoming episode, Vanishing Point, looks set to explore William’s descent into becoming the Man in Black (Ed Harris). Notably, a new actress has been cast to play the older
version of his wife and veteran actress Sela Ward is featured in the promo for the upcoming episode. The clip hist at what looks like it will be an incredibly poignant hour of television.
Audiences learned earlier on that Juliet died by suicide, last week’s episode saw Emily discuss it with her father. The trailer opens with shots of a sophisticated party, likely a Delos one
before cutting to an image of a bath overflowing, a hand visible of the side. This is more than likely alluding to Juliet’s death. A voiceover of an exchange between Juliet and William
narrates the entire trailer. ARE DRONE HOSTS SENTIENT IN WESTWORLD? “Tell me the truth,” Juliet begins as a shot of old William holding a gun to his head is shown. “Tell me one true thing.”
Then old William/Man in Black delivers a speech: “No one else sees it. This thing in me. “Even I didn’t see it at first. Then one day, it was there. “This stain… invisible to everyone.
Except you.” The speech is set over images of most of the core characters who will likely be revisited in the episode also. _WESTWORLD SEASON 2 AIRS ON HBO ON SUNDAY NIGHTS AND SKY ATLANTIC
