Fury and Wilder fought out a controversial draw on Saturday night in a bout for Wilder’s WBC heavyweight title. Joshua has been vocal about chasing a clash with Wilder, as he looks to become the undisputed heavyweight champion. The brit holds the WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF titles. And he has made it clear that he wants to add the WBC strap to that collection. Joshua had long been linked with a fight with Wilder after months of negotiations and public offers. However, the fight never materialised, and Wilder took on Fury in Los Angeles instead. Now, having been silent since the fight took place, Joshua took to Twitter to vent his frustration after Wilder’s co-manager, Shelly Finkel, claimed Wilder was now interested in the fight. “What took this fool so long?” Joshua tweeted. “Like we ain’t been interested? “Anyway well done Fury! “They wanted to get you because they assumed you was finished! “I’ll give you a fair one when your [sic] ready! “Either one of you! “Anyway back to the gym - over in USA training local time 18.42! “I’ll get some reply’s [sic] done this week #AJBXNG” Joshua will next fight at Wembley Stadium on April 13. He was expected to face Dillian Whyte in a rematch of their 2015 classic, but the silver WBC titlist will now face Dereck Chisora on December 22. Another potential opponent for Joshua is Oleksandr Usyk, who is expected to move up to heavyweight after defending the undisputed cruiserweight championship against Tony Bellew in November.
