Manchester United boss Mourinho has a strained relationship with Pogba, who has emerged as a Barcelona transfer target. The Catalan giants are keen to sign the France international who has
toiled during his two years at Old Trafford. Manchester United have just two days to sign new recruits with the Premier League transfer window shutting on Thursday (5pm). And Rome-based
newspaper Il Messaggero claim Mourinho has told Mendes to rush through a deal for Milinkovic-Savic. The Lazio bulldozer was on United’s list of targets at the start of the summer. He was
initially earmarked as a replacement for Marouane Fellaini but, after the Belgian signed a contract extension, talk of a transfer went cold. However, with Pogba’s future now uncertain,
United could be set to land their man. It is claimed Mourinho has told Mendes to accelerate a deal for Milinkovic-Savic, who is valued at £89million. Il Messaggero say United will only stump
up the cash if Pogba leaves for Barcelona. But, with Serie A giants Juventus and AC Milan both keen to sign the 23-year-old, United face a fight to conclude a deal. Milinkovic-Savic is keen
to leave Lazio for a new challenge elsewhere. And the Lazio star recently refused to rule out a move away from the Stadio Olympico, saying: “I have returned to Lazio, I have a contract with
the club and I am focused on the experience and on my team. "Despite this, in football you never know how things can evolve." As well as a Pogba replacement, United are also keen
to bring in a centre-back and right winger. Harry Maguire, Toby Alderweireld, Yerry Mina, Ivan Perisic and Willian have all been linked. WHO IS MANCHESTER UNITED STAR AND BARCELONA TARGET
