The winger, who scored in Chelsea’s 3-0 FA Cup victory over Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday, has been linked with a switch to the Bundesliga all month. The Blues have reportedly rejected
attempts to lure Hudson-Odoi away from the Bridge. Reports suggested that the 18-year-old has handed in a transfer request having yet to start a league game for the Stamford Bridge outfit.
But Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has hinted that there may be a significant update to come on Monday. "I don't have anything to say today,” Salihamidzic said on
Sunday. “I will talk tomorrow if there is anything to announce." Hudson-Odoi himself gave little away when he was questioned on his future immediately after beating Sheffield Wednesday.
“I don’t know [if it’s my final game],” Hudson-Odoi said. “I can’t say. “I keep working hard and you never know what’s going to happen. “I can’t say [if spoken with Bayern Munich].” Chelsea
assistant Gianfranco Zola insists the club are doing everything they can to keep Callum Hudson-Odoi at Stamford Bridge. When asked if he will stay, the Italian conceded: “I don’t know, we
want him to stay. “We believe in what he can do for this club. We don’t know many 18-year-olds who are playing as much as him. It shows we believe in him. “We can do as much as we can do, He
has a lot of strong players next to him. “I want to stress if you look at the big clubs not as much play. “It means we have trust. We are showing this.”
