Manchester United star Amad Diallo has reacted on social media after shining for the club’s Under-23s again. The 18-year-old, who signed from Atalanta in the January transfer window, scored
once and provided three assists in a 6-4 win. And his fine form could see him appear for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first team sooner, rather than later. Diallo impressed on his Under-23s debut
against Liverpool last week, scoring twice in a 6-3 win. And the talented teenager has now followed up that performance with an electric display against Blackburn. Diallo registered three
assists and found the net in a 6-4 victory, with the likes of Shola Shoretire, Hannibal Mejbri and Joe Hugill also on target. And, in the aftermath of the match, the Ivorian took to social
media to react. He shared footage from the game in one clip. THINK YOU KNOW SPORT? TEST YOUR SPORTING KNOWLEDGE WITH OUR TRICKY QUIZ Speaking after the Liverpool win last week he praised
Diallo, though opted to focus on the performance of Hugill. "We’re going to give him the time to settle in,” he said. "If we go from that game [vs Liverpool], I’d pick Joe Hugill.
"Four goals by Hugill, he’s a top striker as well, we’re looking forward to seeing his development. "Amad gets a good start and why Joe didn’t take the penalty himself to get five
goals I’m going to ask him." Solskjaer has named two positions Diallo is capable of playing in, too. “I think he [Amad] is comfortable in many positions,” said the 47-year-old.
“Right-wing is probably the position he’s played the most, with his left foot coming inside. “Then again, in the Champions League for Atalanta, he played on the left – he cut inside and he
went outside, so he can play different positions for us. “Let’s give him time to find his feet here in England and we’ll hopefully see him soon.” And the Norwegian said Diallo had been ‘very
good’ in training. “Very good,” said the Norwegian. “He can handle the ball, he’s enjoyed training, makes a difference in training, which is quite remarkable at his age. “Some adjustment to
settle into the hustle and bustle of the Premier League but I can’t see it’s too long until he’s in the squad. “It [his debut] might be quicker than that [a few weeks], he’s definitely
settled down, well, players have taken to him, he’s a good character, polite, smiley boy who works really hard. “He’s doing his sessions, getting used to us, there’s always a period of
adjustment needed but he’s settling in well.”
