After spending 17 years with the club, Wilshere will leave Arsenal when his current contract expires at the end of June. Wilshere confirmed he will be seeking new opportunities after Unai
Emery confirmed playing opportunities for the midfielder will be limited next season. After confirming his departure for the club, Wilshere posted an emotional video tribute to Arsenal
looking back at his time as a Gunner. However, many fans will remember him for when he led expletive-laden chants during Arsenal’s FA Cup title celebrations back in 2015. "We've
got one question. And one question only,” he said. "What do we think of Tottenham? S**t! What do you think of s**t? Tottenham! Thank you." Hilariously, Wilshere took a microphone
in front of thousands of fans outside the Emirates and mocked Premier League rivals Tottenham. He then sang two anti-Spurs songs on a balcony alongside his team-mates as the club celebrated
their FA Cup triumph. While Wilshere’s chants went down in Arsenal history, the FA were not impressed by his behaviour and they later charged him with misconduct. Wilshere did apologise for
his offensive Tottenham chants.
