WWE legend and Hollywood actor Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson is desperate to see Colin Kaepernick play in the NFL again. Kaepernick has been absent from the NFL since leaving the San Francisco

49ers in 2016 after controversially taking a knee during the US national anthem. The quarterback is now attempting to re-enter the sport and held an open training session to demonstrate his

skills. Johnson told ESPN’s _The Undefeated Roundtable_: “I want to see him play. I want to see him on the field. “He looked great (in the trial). We are athletes by nature and love the

world of sports, and all sports. “But this one in particular of course, it’s a close one to us and also because ultimately what i think it comes down to ‘how badly do you want to play the

game?’ “And on a business level for the other NFL owners is ‘how badly do you want Kap in the game too,’ because he can still ball.” Kaepernick is determined to return to the sport and

explained he is waiting to hear back from the scouts after his training session. The quarterback said: “I’ve been ready for three years. I’ve been denied for three years. "We all know

why I came out here. [I] showed it today in front of everybody. We have nothing to hide. “So we’re waiting for the 32 owners, 32 teams, Roger Goodell, all of them to stop running. “Stop

running from the truth. Stop running from the people.” The American claims his decision to protest racial and social injustice in the US has led to him being snubbed by the NFL. Kaepernick

explained that he took a knee during the pre-game national anthem to stand up for people that are oppressed.
