Conor McGregor has received a chilling message from surging prospect Khamzat Chimaev. The undefeated Chimaev, 9-0, has taken the UFC by storm over the last two-and-a-half months. The
Chechen, who trains out of Allstar Gym in Stockholm, has racked up three wins in 66 days, a UFC record. Chimaev - who has bounced between welterweight and middleweight during his brief stint
in the promotion - has made light work of John Phillips, Rhys McKee and Gerald Meerschaert, the latter of whom he knocked out in 17 seconds at UFC Fight Night 178. The former BRAVE FC
standout has ambitions of mixing it with the UFC's big boys in the coming months. And top of that list is currently former two-division champion McGregor. "I want to smash the
Burger King guy," Chimaev tweeted on Thursday. "Easy money." JUST IN: CONOR MCGREGOR SPORTS NEW LOOK IN TRAINING AFTER 2021 RETURN IS MOOTED “I’m not looking for Khamzat to
fight a mentally unstable fighter. Conor McGregor is mentally unstable. I wish him the best of luck. “Khamzat would kill him. He would really kill him.” Chimaev, who is currently the talk of
the mixed martial arts world, will be back in action later this year. He tweeted: "I have a date , now they looking for other side. Five round main event. Thank you @danawhite for
keeping your word. Anybody. Anytime. Anywhere #KhamzatSmash." McGregor, meanwhile, hasn't set foot inside the Octagon since his 40-second annihilation of Donald Cerrone in January.
The Irishman is currently enjoying his third retirement from mixed martial arts, but UFC chief Dana White expects him to be back in the cage in early 2021. “We’re actually working on some
fun stuff for Conor at the beginning of next year," White said during an appearance on ESPN's SportsCenter. "He should be back next year. I’m not saying he’s coming back to
fight guaranteed, but we’re talking about some stuff.” The UFC's plans for McGregor could end up being derailed by legal issues. Earlier this month, Ireland's first UFC champion
was arrested and questioned in Corsica following an allegation of an "attempted sexual assault". McGregor, 22-4, has vehemently denied any wrongdoing and has promise to expose
those trying to sully his name. "Never will I fold!" McGregor wrote in a lengthy post on his private Facebook page. "The truth is the truth and it gives me wings! I know my
character! God bless DNA! God bless CCTV! God bless Eye witness! God bless the truth! The truth is power! I am free! "Never will a dime be paid to anyone coming at me with vicious lies!
