On Sunday afternoon, mixed martial arts' premier promotion’s 130th Fight Night card will take place at Liverpool’s Echo Arena.
Headlining the card is Liverpool’s own Darren Till, who announced himself to MMA fans across the globe last October with a stunning first-round TKO victory over Donald Cerrone.
The man tasked with the job of spoiling Till’s homecoming is former welterweight title challenger Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson.
Thompson versus Till will be a catchweight bout as the latter failed to make weight yesterday morning, coming in three-and-a-half pounds over the 171lbs limit.
Till reflected on missing weight during the ceremonial weigh-ins, saying: "I want to apologise for missing weight. S**t happens."
Thompson’s fellow 170lbs contender Neil Magny also features on the card, taking on UFC newcomer Craig White in the co-main event of the evening.
Till's fellow scouser Molly 'Meatball' McCann will also be competing in front of her fellow Scousers, taking on Canadian Gillian Robertson.
Five other Brits will also be in action at the Echo, most notably Arnold Allen and Tom Breese.
UFC Fight Night 130 may not have many household names on the card, but it’s certainly an event worth tuning in for.
