This video captures the terrifying ordeal, filmed by one of the hikers on the trail. The group was heading to a waterfall in Montana’s Glacier National Park, in the USA’s northwest. Along
the way they heard one of the hikers ahead had spotted a grizzly bear in the bushes. As they were trying to spot it themselves, they turned and saw another bear coming up behind them. The
menacing grizzly can be seen in the video closely following them on the trail. They decided to keep on walking at a slow pace and the cat and mouse game played out for about 30 half an
hour. The person filming the video can be heard breathing heavily throughout the footage. Eventually, the grizzly became bored with his prize and clambered back into the forest. One of the
hikers explained: "We all said 'Oh s**t' then 'stay calm, look down and slowly walk backwards’. "We did this and the bear followed us for about a quarter of a
mile, 30 minutes. We saw him take a poop and go for a swim." The same site has been home to a series of bear attacks this year. Most recently, hiker Todd Orr, who said he fought off
the same bear twice in one day. Last week a video of two dogs chasing off a grizzly bear in America went viral. Courageous canines Bentley and Tucker jumped into action when the giant
intruder approached their yard in Bradbury, California. As owner Christine Downs filmed the barking duo, the bear began peeking over the fence below. Despite Bentley bouncing up and down to
make himself appear bigger, the massive mammal only turned tail when clearly bored of the situation.
