IJS adds Africa to network with Value partnership

IJS Global Inc., the Stamford, Conn.-based air and ocean freight forwarder, customs broker and non-vessel operating common carrier, is expanding into Africa through an exclusive partnership

Global in South Africa and all countries within the Sub-Saharan Africa region, including Mauritius, Seychelles and Madagascar.    “With this announcement, we have now extended the IJS Global

brand to every major trading continent,” said Giorgio Laccona, IJS Global's chairman and chief executive officer.    Steven Gottschalk, CEO of Value Logistics, said: “Through the IJS Global

network, we will be able to broaden our reach, and our unique value proposition, beyond Africa. At the same time, IJS Global will take advantage of our local and regional expertise to offer

its customers an entry into this fast-growing and potentially lucrative market.”
