Local appliance chain opens new Moorpark DC Warehouse Discount Center, one of Southern California’s largest independently owned retailers of home appliances and plumbing fixtures, has opened

a newly completed distribution center and corporate headquarters on an 8.2-acre site in Moorpark.    Home base for about 50 WDC employees, the nearly 140,000-square-foot WDC headquarters

includes an 115,000-square-foot distribution center and an adjacent 23,000-square-foot retail showroom and outlet.    The firm has more than 150 employees at stores in Agoura Hills,

Chatsworth, Canyon Country, Northridge, Oxnard, Santa Barbara and Moorpark.
