U.S. Customs and Border Protection will begin taking registration Thursday for its annual Trade Symposium, which will focus on how trade impacts health, safety and economic prosperity.    


U.S. Customs and Border Protection will host its annual Trade Symposium Dec. 1-2 in Arlington, Va., across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C., the agency announced Tuesday.    The theme


of the event, which will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Crystal City, is trade’s impact on health, safety and economic prosperity.    Registration for the popular event will open Thursday


at noon.    The Trade Symposium is held about once a year. It was in Baltimore in November 2015. In March, CBP held a West Coast version of the Trade Symposium in Phoenix.    The Trade


Symposium is a major outreach event during which officials update hundreds of trade compliance and logistics professionals about initiatives and industry partnerships to improve cargo
