An egg producer launched an online web cam on its free-range units, last month.   First came Cheddarvision, the online web cam set up by West Country Farmhouse Cheddar, allowing consumers to watch one of its cheeses mature live over a year.  Now comes Hen Cam, set up by the free-range egg producer Clarence Court.   Consumers can see how the company treats its birds with care and respect, given everything possible to allow freedom of expression and movement, as well as all that is necessary for a happy life, explained a spokesperson.    Clarence Court suggested the best time to see the hens is either at dawn or dusk, as hens have their origins from the jungle hens which do not like bright sunlight.
