21 September 1999 CHINA TO RESUME WTO TALKS CHINA is to resume talks with the European Union on its entry to the World Trade Organisation (WTO). No date has been announced for the resumption of talks. Talks broke down following Natos accidental bombing of the Chinese embassy in Belgrade during the Kosovo war.
