6 JUNE 1997 ------------------------- FINED FOR OBSTRUCTION LANCS milk producer Paul Kenny has been fined £700 after Blackburn magistrates found him guilty of intentionally obstructing an Intervention Board official. Mr Kenny, Standridge Farm, Slaidburn, Clitheroe, was issued with a court summons after officers visited the farm in September (News, Mar 7). Mr Kenny said the IB officials arrived with no appointment and demanded to see his milk records. He told them all information was available from MD Foods and he was not aware he was expected to keep records of all milk consumed on the farm. Mr Kenny was fined £300 and ordered to pay costs of £400.n
