apparent that a major character made a comeback after a lengthy absence. Saturday's (May 31) episode saw Ncuti Gatwa's character regenerating into Billie Piper, with Gatwa
departing from his two-series run as the beloved protagonist. As the instalment drew to its end, fans watched in surprise as Piper, famed for her role as Rose Tyler, the Doctor's
assistant, seemingly took on the mantle as the next Doctor – or so it appeared to some. Yet, fan theories abound that Piper may not actually take up the role of the Doctor. A hint spotted by
eagle-eyed viewers in the credits suggests there might be an unexpected turn yet to come. Some viewers insist that there's a notable discrepancy in the closing credits concerning
Piper's portrayal. A keen observer noted on X: "Everyone failing to notice that Billie Piper was not 'introduced' as the Doctor in the credits, just as Billie Piper.
She's clearly not the Doctor but some Bad Wolf shenanigans." The theory sparked substantial conversation among the fanbase, with many taking to the internet to voice their
agreement and speculations. One person speculated: "It's allowing themselves wiggle room." Another suggested: "100%, given the reshoots that happened. "It's a
smart move to get people talking and potentially have a really interesting Bad Wolf special to lead into the next Doctor." A third fan offered their theory, adding: "Well, the Bad
