Kate Hudson has opened up about "complicated" family dynamics as she admits you "want to break out". The 45-year-old Running Point star says she grew up in a "very

eats Isla however has to battle against the male-dominated world of professional sport as well as her own scheming family. Kate, who grew up in a family home with mum Goldie Hawn, stepdad
Kurt Russell, brother Oliver and half-brother Wyatt Russell, says the need to navigate family dynamics resonates with her. Speaking to Hello! magazine, she said: "Family dynamics are
really complicated, and when you're stuck in them, sometimes you just want to break out." She added: "Then you get into the family dynamic and you're forced to see
yourself differently." Kate says she had to learn to find her own inner power at a young age. The star says Isla has the ability to "make her own choices" throughout the show
despite facing an "uphill battle" in basketball. She believes many women will find her character's struggle, finding themselves in "high-powered positions, where you know
the right moves but your confidence has not caught up." Kate revealed her famous brother, Oliver is "still mad" at her because he didn't have a cameo in Running Point,
reports the Irish Star. Speaking to People magazine, Kate says she and Oliver had a "crazy sibling dynamic", something they discuss in their podcast Sibling Revelry. She has also
previously spoken about how important her family is to her. She said: "Sibling dynamics are really challenging. And you realize - which I love, because I really have spent so many years
now talking about it - [siblings] know each other better than anyone. And every good, bad, and ugly thing that happens in your life, it comes out in that dynamic. She added, reflecting on
the bond of siblings: "But at the same time, when you have them on your side and you choose to work through things together - there's no other bond like it." In addition to
her brothers Oliver and Wyatt, Kate also has two half-brothers, Boston and Zachary, and two half-sisters, Emily and Lalania, from her father's later relationships. She has previously
spoken out about not being in contact with her half-siblings during her younger years.
