Netflix's upcoming talent show Building The Band which features the late Liam Payne in his last TV role is poised for a summer debut on the platform. Despite the sudden loss of Payne in
October last year, the show that wrapped filming before the tragedy will proceed as anticipated. Netflix's Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria has announced details of the eagerly
awaited series, in which Payne holds a special guest judging position alongside Destiny's Child’s Kelly Rowland and Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger. "People will be obsessed with
Building the Band coming this summer, hosted by AJ McLean," Bajaria assured, putting any uncertainty about the show's future to rest. "Contestants will be judged and mentored
by Nicole Scherzinger, with Kelly Rowland and the late Liam Payne." The judges will assess hopefuls battling it out to become the next big music sensation — but there’s an inventive
twist involved, reveals the Mirror. Adopting a page from the playbook of Netflix’s runaway success Love Is Blind—without the romantic angle—participants won’t have sight of one another until
they’ve been selected to form a group. Will pure chemistry be enough to forge them into stars? Netflix has teased that audiences can look forward to "plenty of drama, next-level
artistry, and unforgettable performances" in their upcoming show. Alongside Liam, Kelly, and Nicole, AJ McLean from the Backstreet Boys will be serving as host. The show wrapped up its
filming at the end of August with three live performances at Manchester's Aviva Studios, but just two months later, fans were stunned by the news of Payne's tragic death after he
fell from a hotel balcony on the third floor in Buenos Aires. Liam Payne's rise to fame started back in 2010 with his X Factor audition. While his solo effort didn't get him
through boot camp, Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger saw something special in him. He was then grouped together with Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Harry Styles to form a
boyband that would soon take the world by storm, finishing third on the show and embarking on a path to international fame. The group faced challenges when Zayn departed in 2015, after which
they announced they would be taking an extended break. Following Liam's sudden passing, his ex-bandmates shared a moving tribute: "We're completely devastated by the news of
Liam's passing. "In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say. But for now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved
dearly. The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever. "For now, our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and the fans who loved him alongside us. We will miss him
terribly. We love you Liam." _BUILDING THE BAND LAUNCHES ON NETFLIX THIS SUMMER WITH AN EXACT RELEASE DATE YET TO BE CONFIRMED_
