Car parking fees could go up at certain car parks in Tandridge. The borough council is proposing changing how they charge for off street parking in order to cover maintenance, and
enforcement. The changes are currently up for consultation, and are scheduled to come into effect on March 3. The council says that the changes are needed to “maintain the vitality and
viability of town centres and local facilities.” Documents show the fees are intended to be used to improve and maintain carparks and for regular enforcement to ensure restrictions are being
respected. This would be the first increase since 2018. Changes being proposed include higher parking charges, as well as increased season ticket and contract space fees. There are no
changes proposed to the two, three and four hour free parking available. The council owned car parks affected and the proposed fees are: * TOWN END, CATERHAM (CR3 5UG): * 0 - 3 Hours Free *
