If you're a lover of vino, there is one particular event taking place in Surrey this summer you will not want to miss. Celebrating English Wine Week, Vineyards of the Surrey Hills’


Summer Spectacular wine festival will offer a glorious opportunity to explore English wine and the Surrey Hills wine route. Held across the weekend of Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29,


there will be tours, tastings and experiences for visitors to enjoy at some of the county's most beautiful vineyards, including Albury Organic Vineyard, Chilworth Manor Vineyard,


Denbies Wine Estate, Greyfriars Vineyard and High Clandon, who produce outstanding wines from the rolling North Downs, in the Surrey Hills National Landscape. From Greyfriars in the west


near Guildford, to Denbies in the east near Dorking, barely 15 miles separates the vineyards, making it an intimate and enjoyable English wine route to explore in just a couple of days. Easy


to find and easy to reach, just 20 miles from London and with Gatwick Airport and Heathrow Airport only short journeys away, the vineyards of the Surrey Hills are renowned for award-winning


English sparkling wines, rosés and whites. SOME OF THE HIGHLIGHTS: ALBURY: At Albury Organic Vineyard on Sunday, June 29, 11am to 5pm, there will be tours with access to a wildlife walk,


wine tasting, masterclasses with a renowned English wine expert, local artisan food and wine samples. Tickets cost £15 and include a tour, a glass of Silent Pool Rosé (or a soft drink) on


arrival and a beautiful Albury branded glass to take home. Address: Albury Organic Vineyard, Silent Pool, Shere Road, Albury, GU5 9BW. CHILWORTH: On Saturday, June 28, Chilworth Manor


Vineyard will host an afternoon of music, sparkling and still rosé wine and delicious street food. Open from 3pm to 8pm, there will be two free vineyard talks and a separate guided tasting.


Tickets cost £19.50 per adult (which includes a complimentary glass of wine or non-alcoholic drink). For children five years and over, it’s £7.50 (including a complimentary soft drink),

and tour on a wine train followed by a three-course tasting menu paired with selected wines on Saturday, June 28, 6pm to 10pm. Tickets cost £65 per person. The following day, there will be a

GREYFRIARS: Greyfriars Vineyard will be celebrating its 15th anniversary on Saturday, June 28 from 12 noon to 7pm with live music, mini tours and a masterclass led by vineyard owner Mike

out over two weekends starting with their infamous Battle of Waterloo: Surrey Hills sparkling wine v Champagne tasting event on June 14, 2025 which costs £50 per person. From Sunday, June 29


to Sunday July 13, 11am to 4pm daily, there will be a superb collection of more than 100 works of art and sculpture in the garden to explore. Entry for the art and sculpture event is a £7
