abbreviations SUMMARY: The pilot was flying a third approach to an unfamiliar airfield, having had to go-around from two earlier approaches. As the pilot manoeuvred the aircraft onto final

approach it appeared to be close to the point of stalling. The left wing then dropped suddenly and the aircraft struck the ground. It came to rest in an upright attitude and the pilot was
