consultation has concluded DETAIL OF OUTCOME We received no responses to this consultation. ‘Regional economic performance indicators’ (REPI) served the purpose of grouping data that was

also published elsewhere, to make it easy to find. We’ve stopped publishing REPI due to the decline in interest, and beacause the data is now easily available on the internet.

------------------------- ORIGINAL CONSULTATION SUMMARY We’re asking for views on whether 'Regional Economic Performance Indicators' (REPI) remains useful and for suggestions on

its improvement. This consultation ran from 24 MAY 2011 TO 11:45PM ON 31 AUGUST 2011 CONSULTATION DESCRIPTION The annual web publication ‘Regional Economic Performance Indicators?’ (REPI)

provides data on a number of indicators involving social and economic factors, covering the UK regions. It aims to give a balanced picture of all the statistical information relevant to

economic performance, competitiveness and the state of the regions. There have been large changes in government policy in some areas, in particular a shift from regionalism to localism. It’s

therefore important that we make sure the publication continues to provide the range of sub-national statistics that are relevant to users. We’re asking if readers of the publication

continue to find it useful, and for feedback and suggestions on how it can be improved. DOCUMENTS CONSULTATION ON 'REGIONAL ECONOMIC PERFORMANCE INDICATORS' Ref: BIS/11/938 PDF,
