next round of poultrymeat import quotas which are detailed in Annex 1 attached. THE APPLICATION PERIOD For the period 1 November to 31 December 2021 you may apply for import licences between

1 October 2021 and 5pm on 7 October 2021. It is your responsibility to check that the application and all additional documentation is correct at the time of submission. NOTE: We will reject

any applications, securities or proof of trade received after 5pm on 7 October 2021. PROOF OF TRADE – ORDER NUMBERS 05.4273, 05.4274 AND 05.4422 If it is your first application of the quota

year you must provide evidence to show that you have imported at least 25 tonnes of product within the same sector i.e. Poultry, under a GB EORI number, during: * the 12 month period from

17 September 2019 to 16 September 2020; and * the 12 month period immediately prior to that. PROOF OF TRADE – ALL OTHER ORDER NUMBERS You must provide evidence to show that you imported at

least 25 tonnes in each of the periods stated below, and be; * of goods of the same description as those specified on the licence application for those quotas which require a reference

quantity and/or declaration of independence, or * in any other case, of goods of a description falling within the poultry sector. Proof of trade must cover: * the 12-month period ending 31

March 2021; and * the 12-month period immediately prior to that. You must supply the original import document (C88) form, or a copy certified as a ‘true copy’ of the original stamped by

Customs. We will not accept photocopies of the Customs stamp or scanned versions of these documents. SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS If it is your first application of the quota year you must send us a

valid VAT certificate when submitting your application. If you are registered as part of a group you must provide a valid VAT certificate that lists each company within the group. REFERENCE

QUANTITY For order numbers 05.4067, 05.4068, 05.4212, 05.4213, 05.4251, 05.4254 and 05.4255 your application will be subject to a reference quantity. The reference quantity is the average

quantity of goods imported during: * the 12-month period ending 31 March 2021; and * the 12-month period immediately prior to that. The application must not exceed the reference quantity or,

if it concerns a sub-period, must not exceed the proportion of the reference quantity corresponding with the sub-period. For example: Reference quantity - 10,000kgs Sub-period split -

30%/30%/20%/20% Reference quantity split - 3000kgs/3000kgs/2000kgs/2000kgs However, if you have already used your full reference quantity for an application in the first period you cannot

apply in this period. The reference quantity can only be made up of goods of the same description relating to the quota concerned. DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE For order numbers 05.4067,

05.4068, 05.4212, 05.4213, 05.4251, 05.4254 and 05.4255 you must provide a declaration of independence (see Annex 2) which must contain: * a declaration that you are not linked with any

other person applying for the same order number; or * if you are linked with another person applying for the same order number, a declaration that identifies that linked person and evidence

that you regularly engage in substantial economic activities with other third parties. LICENCE APPLICATIONS In box 8, the country of origin: * you must put a cross in the ‘No box for order

numbers 05.4067, 05.4068, 05.4213, 05.4218, 05.4264, 05.4265 and 05.4422 and a cross in the ‘Yes box for all other order numbers. in box 20, special particulars: * you must state ‘Statutory

Instrument 2020 No. 1432’ and the quota order number that you are applying under. LICENCE SECURITY Applications must be accompanied by a security of £10 per 100kgs for order numbers 05.4217,

05,4251 and 05.4253, £20 per 100kgs for order numbers 05.4067 and 05.4068 ,£35 per 100kgs for order numbers 05.4254, 05.4255, 05.4256, 05.4258 and 05.4259, £50 per 100kgs for order numbers

05.4212, 05.4213, 05.4218, 05.4264, 05.4265 and 05.4422, and £63 per 100kgs for order numbers 05.4273 and 05.4274. In box 11 you should state: * the amount of security expressed in UKP (£);

* the type of security, for example ‘block guarantee’, ‘cash’ or ‘single transaction guarantee’; and * the trader number of the block guarantee holder if you are using another trader’s block

guarantee. If you are using another trader’s block guarantee you must make sure that your cross reference details are set up before you send us your application. NOTE: We will reject your

application if the cross reference is not set up and you do not submit security in another format within the application period. We will not accept any amendments to block guarantees after

the application period has closed. This includes cross reference amendments. LICENCE VALIDITY Licences for order number 05.4273, 05.4274 and 05.4422 will be valid from 1 November until 31

December 2021. Licences for all other order numbers will be valid from 1 November 2021 until 30 June 2022. RELEASE OF SECURITY Security against the main electronic licence (excluding

extracts) will be released automatically upon attribution of at least 95% of the licence quantity. TRANSFER OF RIGHTS The rights of a licence may only be transferred to companies that have

satisfied the proof of trade requirements detailed in this notice. The rights of a licence can only be transferred once, to the nominated transferee. Further transfers of rights are not

permitted, other than to transfer the rights back to the original licence holder. ANIMAL AND PUBLIC HEALTH To protect animal and public health, all products of animal origin may be subject

to veterinary conditions or restrictions. You can call the Animal and Plant Health Agency Carlisle on 01228 403600 for advice on whether and under what conditions imports are allowed.
