The Attorney General is seeking to appoint new members to one of his panels of junior counsel, the Regional Panel, to undertake civil advocacy work outside London and the south east for all

government departments.

Membership of the Panel is open to both barristers and solicitors with the appropriate qualifications. Members of the Regional Panel will be expected to have at least 2 years’ advocacy

experience in actual practice by 1 October 2015 (starting from the end of the second 6 month pupillage for barristers or end of training contract for solicitors.)

There is a wide variety of expertise required, not just in Public Law, to meet the needs of government across the civil courts and tribunals.

Completed applications must be received by 12pm on Friday 31 July 2015.
