system of Vanuatu are described. Sections 4 and 5 describe the frame survey undertaken to establish new Fish Aggregating Devices (FADs) deployment sites. Sections 6 and 7 describe the
reactions of fishermen to the FADs and the trial fishing undertaken by the project on FADs in South Santo. Finally in section 8, general conclusions and recommendations are presented.
