Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan Tuesday visited here to take stock of the measures taken by the district administration to combat the spread of COVID19 and review
quarantine facilities established at Indoor Stadium. The Advisor was accompanied by deputy commissioner, Baramulla,GN Itoo who informed the Advisor that adequate facilities have been put
inplace to fight the pandemic and a newly established 100-beddedquarantine/wellness centre at the Stadium was one such illustration. The Advisor was also informed that there were
19administrative quarantine centres in which 302 persons were undergoingquarantine. The Advisor directed the officers to take all necessarymeasures required to provide best quarantine
facilities and also sendpassengers with symptoms of coronavirus infection to institutional quarantineimmediately. Itoo informed the Advisor that besides other facilities,there were 14 more
institutional quarantine facilities in the district and twoisolation centres have also been established.
